An endangered species Guadalupe Fur Seal was rescues on the North Oregon Coast Saturday, July 3rd after it became entangled in a nylon fishing net. Members of the Seaside Aquarium captured the seal and transported it to a licensed rehabilitation facility for a full veterinary health assessment, and removal of the netting. It will be released back into the Pacific Ocean when deemed healthy.
