The Fair Housing Council of Oregon (FHCO) is a statewide civil rights organization that proactively promotes housing justice, equity, and inclusion. Their mission is to end illegal housing discrimination and promote equal access to housing choice through education and enforcement of fair housing law. Jamie Gatewood is the Education and Outreach Coordinator at Fair Housing Council of Oregon. Her background is in early childhood education, teaching in the classroom and advocating for families. Jamie has also worked as a home visitor through a community health clinic, providing support and education to parents in their homes. In her free time, Jamie enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends and mini dachshund, Latte. Jamie is very excited to focus her advocacy and people skills towards FHCO’s mission in ending illegal housing discrimination.
