Fall salmon seasons going strong, Sept. 18

Report from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife. Coastal fall Chinook fishing is picking up in bays and estuaries from Tillamook south to Coos Bay; on many coastal rivers wild coho seasons opened Sept. 15, and the Columbia River is now open for salmon fishing from Buoy 10 upstream to the OR/WA border.
