CCSO release – Location: Lee Valley Rd, MP 10; Victim: Gray, Michael L, 60 years old; Narrative: On 05-18-22 at about 7:04 AM, Deputies were dispatched to Lee Valley road for a report of an overturned SUV in the river. Members of Fairview and Coquille Fire were also dispatched. Upon arrival and recovery of the vehicle, it was found to be occupied. Unfortunately the driver, 60 year old Michael Gray was found deceased. The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time, but it appears no other vehicles or property was damaged in the incident.
