News release CCSO. On June 29th, 2017 at approximately 2028 hours, Deputies responded to approximately mile post 14 on Fairview Road for a report of an ATV accident. Upon arrival, deputies learned Richard R. Deadmond was traveling west bound on Fairview Road on an ATV when he rolled the ATV and was ejected. Medical personnel attempted CPR on Richard but where unsuccessful. Richard was pronounced dead at the scene.
