On November 22, 2015 at about 10:10AM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to Highway34 near milepost 1 (just east of Corvallis near Groves Lane) on the report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. Upon emergency crews arriving on scene, they located a 34 year old male, deceased on the shoulder of highway. Preliminary information indicates the male was on the south side of Highway 34 when he was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. Evidence left on scene indicates the vehicle was possibly a white Suzuki. It is also possible the suspect vehicle was another make or model. The victim’s name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
