On Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at approximately 8:10 A.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 39 near milepost 15. Preliminary investigation revealed a Chevy Spark, operated by a juvenile, was northbound when it crossed in the southbound lane and collided with a Kenworth semi-truck operated by Jim Hadd (53) of Klamath Falls. The juvenile was transported to Sky Lakes Hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
