On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at approximately 4:28 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near milepost 62. Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Highlander, operated by Matthew Ryan (49) of San Francisco, CA. was northbound when it went off the road and struck a tree. Ryan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
