At approximately 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, a man walked into the Chase Bank located at 4770 Royal Avenue in Eugene, approached the teller desk, demanded cash, got cash and left. Although he did not display a weapon in the robbery, investigators believe he may be armed. As such, anyone with information about this man should not approach him. Witnesses describe the bank robber as: White man; Age: Late 30’s to early 40’s; Height: 5’9”; Hair: Dark brown; Facial hair: Dark brown; Complexion: Light brown/olive-colored skin; Clothing: Dark colored pants, dark colored overcoat, and a grey zip-up sweatshirt with dark-colored sleeves. The sweatshirt had the phrase “TAP OUT” across the front. The robber was seen leaving the bank on foot and cutting through a nearby Albertson’s parking lot. At one point, he removed his overcoat and threw it in the back of a dark-colored pickup truck that was parked four spots from the entrance of the grocery store.
