A 35-year old federal fugitive, who escaped a North Dakota jail with the assistance of a 35-year old female corrections officer, was captured Wednesday, April 1, in North Bend, with his companion. Wesley Brown III was assisted in his escape March 13 from the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center in Devils Lake by 26-year old Rachel Chepulis. The two were tracked to Oregon and arrested in a Bi-Mart store.
