Smith (40). A Family crabbing exhibition ends with a 40-year-old Grants Pass man being arrested for Domestic Assault. On August 13th, 2023, around 1:54 pm, Coos County Dispatch received a report of a domestic altercation on Kingfisher Road. Deputy J. Vinyard responded to the area and began his investigation. After speaking with multiple witnesses and concluding his investigation, Deputy Vinyard determined that Brock Smith (40) of Grants Pass, Oregon attacked a family member while out on a vessel crabbing. During this attack, it was alleged that Mr. Smith also choked the family member. Mr. Smith was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and held without bail for the crimes of Felony Domestic Assault and Strangulation.
