The first of four public hearings by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regarding the proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal at Jordan Cove on Coos Bay’s North Spit was held Monday at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay.  Three more hearings are scheduled this week along the proposed Pacific Connector pipeline route from the Bay Area to Malin, just south of Klamath Falls in South Central Oregon.  Tuesday, June 25, South Umpqua High School in Myrtle Ck.; Wednesday, June 26, Ramada Medford Hotel; and, Thursday, June 27, Klamath Co. Fairgrounds.  All are 1 to 8 p.m.
