Fire Danger Level Increases To Extreme, Aug. 14

CFPA release – Coos Forest Protective Association (CFPA) will be increasing the fire danger on the public’s regulated use closure to “Extreme” effective 12:01 A.M. August 14, 2020. With temperatures expected to be near 100 degrees through the weekend CFPA is increasing the restrictions on the public to prevent fire starts during this weather pattern. CFPA requests the public’s cooperation with the regulated use closure requirements to help prevent fires.
