CFPA release – Coos Forest Protective Association (CFPA) will be increasing the fire danger on the public’s regulated use closure to “Extreme” effective 12:01 A.M. September 1, 2020. Temperatures are forecasted to be above normal and strong winds predicted for the next week CFPA is increasing the restrictions on the public to prevent fire starts during this weather pattern. CFPA requests the public’s cooperation with the regulated use closure requirements to help prevent fires from starting.
