NO MORE STAIRS to climb in order to use restroom facilities! In just over a month, the new restrooms at the lobby level will open. The additional space will feature twice as many women’s stalls, and a family room, with a mother/baby nursing area. Design features will be in the “Moorish” style, which was all the rage when the Liberty Theatre was built as a movie palace in 1924. Beautiful decorative tile in the restrooms, and arched mirrors. A color palette of greens and blues in the women’s room, and browns and reds in the men’s room. From the lobby entrance to the restrooms, archways define the space, bringing the Moorish touch from the outside of the building inside. The outside of the theatre addition is looking charming, with the small parapet walls on the new addition mimicking the larger, original columns. The 1500 sq foot addition is engineered to support a second story. A future phase has plans for a children’s theatre/program space to be added. Little Theatre on the Bay is grateful to the city of North Bend, their many community supporters, and grant foundations across the state. Little Theatre on the Bay is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax-deductible. Please consider donating today!
