No fuel or oil sheens could be seen in the Yaquina River after a 36-foot long commercial fishing vessel ran aground near Toledo, Sunday, Oct. 6. The U.S. Coast Guard dispatched a rescue vessel about 2 p.m. to assist the F/V Mickey. A man and a dog were rescued. There were no injuries. The owner of the vessel will reportedly work with the Port of Toledo to salvage the vessel.
