Oregon Health Authority weekly Surveillance Report for Influenza & other Respiratory Viruses. During Week 42 (ending Oct. 27), 0.9% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs participating in the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS), 4.4% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. 2 influenza-related hospitalizations were reported during Week 42 for the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. 1 ILI/influenza-related outbreak was reported.
