The Forest Trust Lands Advisory Committee will meet Friday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Oregon Department of Forestry Salem headquarters, Tillamook Room, Building C, 2600 State St. Items on the committee’s agenda include comments from State Forester Peter Daugherty and Board Chair Tom Imeson, as well as the following topics. Northwest State Forests Management Plan Update; Habitat Conservation Plan Update. Committee members will also formulate the committee’s testimony for the upcoming Board of Forestry meeting on April 25, 2018. Additionally, the agency will host an informational meeting for members of the public interested in the ongoing Northwest State Forest Management Plan revision. That meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, also in the Tillamook Room at the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Salem headquarters. Both meetings are open to the public. The Forest Trust Lands Advisory Committee is comprised of seven county commissioners representing 15 Oregon counties where state forestlands are located. The FTLAC is a statutorily established committee that advises the Board of Forestry on matters related to forestland managed by ODF.
