On January 15, 2019 Oregon State Police and emergency workers responded to structure fire in Cave Junction where Donald Thomas was found deceased inside the residence. As a result of the investigation, the following persons were arrested and lodged (at the Josephine County Jail): Justin Mason (age 29 from Cave Junction) Felony Murder x2; Arson 1; Burglary 1. Dakota Crow (age 24 from Cave Junction) Felony Murder x2; Arson 1; Burglary 1. Kenny Webb (age 35 from Cave Junction) Aggravated Murder x2; Arson 1; Burglary 1. Richard Webb (age 37 from Cave Junction) Aggravated Murder x2; Arson 1; Burglary 1. Kenny and Richard Webb are brothers and all involved were believed to have been friends with the deceased. Original release: On January 15, 2019, emergency personnel responded to a structure fire at 150 East River St. in Cave Junction. Emergency personnel located Donald Thomas (65) deceased inside the structure. Oregon State Police Major Crimes and Arson Detectives are investigating. A male was seen igniting and throwing a flare at the residence.
