Free Drive-Up Testing for COVID-19, Dec. 17

CHW release – Coos Health & Wellness is partnering with Bay City Ambulance and Waterfall Clinic to host two drive-up COVID-19 Testing Events. Testing will be provided free of cost. Testing Events: December 21st 10am-2pm Tenmile Lake Campground next to the Boat Ramp in Lakeside; December 22nd 10am-2pm Coos County Fairgrounds Myrtle Point. Who should get tested? • You should get tested if you have symptoms of COVID-19. • You should be tested if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19.  Close contact means being within six feet of someone for 15 minutes or more over the course of a day, with or without a mask or face covering. It’s best if you wait three to four days after you were together before taking a test.   Please remember that it is up to us, as a community, to be the best public health stewards we can be. If you have any questions regarding COVID-19, please visit our website HERE for the most recent guidance, or email us at covid19.questions@chw.coos.or.us and we will work to respond to your question in a timely manner.
