You’ll need to call 541 396-7624 to make an appointment; however, Coos & Curry County residents can dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste at the Beaver Hill Transfer Site on April 27th. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Transfer Site just off of Hwy. 101 between Coos Bay & Bandon. Dispose of a wide range of material such as poisons, pesticides, solvents, fluorescent lights, pool chemicals, aerosol cans, caustic cleaners, mercury thermometers and flammable liquids. No industrial or commercial wastes will be accepted.
