A 55-year old Roseburg male, who attempted to cross the Interstate 5 freeway Wednesday, Jan. 29, was killed after being struck by a semi-truck and trailer about 11:45 a.m. Ronald Page was struck in the southbound lane by a Freightliner truck near milepost 124. The semi driver, 29-year old Alvin Chandra, Elk Grove, CA, was unable to avoid the pedestrian.
