Friday Night Lights, May 15

Sporting venue’s outside lights will once again light up the skies of the South Coast tonight, 8:20 p.m. as a salute from school officials to its students and parents during this COVID-19 health crisis. The idea has spread across the Nation as many high schools turn on their football field lights, including Vic Adams Field at NBHS and Pete Susick Stadium at MHS at 20:20 military time, for 8:20 p.m.  Other South Coast schools have joined the salute including Bandon, Coquille, Pacific and Gold Beach.
