You’ll find tables packed with a great selection of bargain books, DVD’s, and more at the Friends of the North Bend Public Library’s used book sale on Saturday, September 17, from 11 am to 4 pm. The sale is open in the large meeting room to the general public from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Paid members of the Friends of the North Bend Public Library are admitted to the Pre-Sale at 10 a.m. Friends memberships can be purchased on the day of the book sale or in advance at the library. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Children’s Summer Reading Program, the Title Wave author events, and special programs at the library. The Friends also contribute to items needed for the meeting rooms or for other projects that benefit the public. If you can’t make it to the sale on September 17, come any time the library is open to find good reads and more on the “Neverending Sale” shelves just inside the library entrance. If you like shopping online, you can benefit the library by looking for special and unique donated titles at our Amazon store at this mini-link: http://ow.ly/oP35r The library is located at 1800 Sherman Avenue, North Bend.
