North Bend remains unbeaten in the 4A Far West League baseball race after beating visiting Marshfield 13-1 Wednesday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend. Mane Freeman threw a two-hitter to lead the first place Bulldogs (3-0) from the mound. Also Wednesday, Douglas beat South Umpqua 9-5 and on Monday Brookings-Harbor downed visiting Siuslaw 10-6 in six. On Friday, North Bend at Marshfield (1-3), Brookings-Harbor (3-1) at Siuslaw (2-2) and Douglas (2-2) plays at So. Umpqua (0-3).
