Seventh ranked North Bend remains unbeaten in the 4A Far West League race after beating visiting Brookings-Harbor 3-0 at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend Tuesday. The loss dropped the second-place Bruins (5-2) two games behind the Bulldogs (6-0). They’re scheduled to play a doubleheader Friday in Brookings. Also Tuesday So. Umpqua (2-4) beat visiting Marshfield 9-2 and Douglas beat Siuslaw 8-1 in Winston. The Lancers are scheduled to play the Pirates (1-6) Friday in Coos Bay 3 & 5 pm.
