North Bend ran its unbeaten record in the 4A Far West League 6-0 after sweeping Brookings-Harbor 4-1, 18-11 on the road Friday afternoon.  Douglas is in second place following a split with Siuslaw at Florence, Vikings 8-7 (8) in the first game, and 5-2 Trojans in the second game.  South Umpqua and Marshfield are tied for third after the Lancers swept the Pirates 10-1, 17-2 (5) in Coos Bay.  On Tuesday, North Bend (6-0, 7-6) hosts Douglas (4-2, 7-8), Marshfield (3-3, 4-7-1) is at Brookings-Harbor (1-5. 4-10), and South Umpqua (3-3, 4-11) goes to Siuslaw (1-5, 1-12).

Defending champion Douglas has a two-game lead in the 4A Far West League after two-weeks of league play.  The Trojans swept Siuslaw Friday 10-7, 17-7 (5).  South Umpqua and North Bend are tied for second, while Marshfield is one game back in fourth place.   The Bulldogs won two at home over Brookings-Harbor 16-11, 13-3.   In Coos Bay, Marshfield and So. Umpqua split.  The Lancers won the opener 4-3 (10), while the Lady Pirates got the second game 6-2.  On Tuesday, Marshfield (3-3, 9-6) hosts Brookings-Harbor (0-5, 4-8), North Bend (4-2, 10-5) is at Douglas (5-0, 6-4), and Siuslaw (1-5, 4-11) visits So. Umpqua (4-2, 12-2).
