Marshfield clinched the 2017 4A Far West League football crown with a 55-10 win at defending champion North Bend Friday night. The Pirates (5-0, 8-0) are the FWL’s No. 1 team, while South Umpqua (4-1, 5-3) is No. 2 after winning at Douglas 32-7. North Bend (3-2, 7-2) is No. 3, and Douglas (2-3, 4-4) No. 4. In the other FWL game, Siuslaw (1-4, 1-7) won at Brookings-Harbor (0-5, 0-8) 31-26.
