Marshfield senior Tyler Post uncorked a personal best of 52-10 to win the Shot Put at a Far West League JV meet at Florence Tuesday. The mark also leads the 4A boys for the state. The Pirates actually swept the event with Phillip Hernandez taking second at 49-06, and Gannon Holland grabbing third at 40-11. Chase Howerton soared to a season best 14-02 in winning the Pole Vault for the Pirates. Kamren Chard was second at 13-00. Those are the second and third best marks among 4A boys so far this season. Marshfield junior Elise Martin won both the Long Jump (15-03), and Triple Jump (33-05). Khaley Aguilar jumped 11-00 to win the Pole Vault for the Pirates. That is also the best mark among 4A girls. Senior Hannah Beaulieu took both sprints, 100 (13.24) & 200 (28.48).
