In collaboration with Bay Area Hospital, Coos Bay Public Library will be hosting a trail-post painting event. The goal is to mark the trails near BAH to make them easier to navigate. This will be a drop-in project with two posts available to paint, lead by Jana Rivers-Norton Ph.D and Lindsay Moore MDiv. Four people can collaboratively paint a post at a time, so those who are waiting can paint with West Coast Painted Rocks. Rocks can be given to BAH staff and patients. The event will take place in Coos Bay Public Library’s Myrtlewood Room from 11:00 am -2:00pm on Wednesday, August 31st. This is a free drop-in event for all ages, no registration required. Children 12 and under need to be accompanied by a guardian.
