Gas Tax, Aug. 18

It’ll be up to the voters to decide whether or not the cities of North Bend and Coos Bay will benefit from a four-cent gas tax added to each gallon of fuel sold in the Bay Area to improve city streets. The proposal was approved earlier by the North Bend City Council, and the Coos Bay Council did the same Tuesday night, August 16.
