The proposed gas tax in the Bay Area to help repair and improve local streets hit a snag in North Bend Monday afternoon. The North Bend City Council feels the campaign to pass a gas tax rolled out by the Save Our Streets Committee, was rushed and that they really hadn’t had time to investigate and discuss it thoroughly. The deadline for drafting a ballot measure for the November 2015 ballot is Friday, August 14. The delay could push a vote on the question back to the 2016 May Primary.
