A 2.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded Saturday, April 18, near Gold Beach. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 6:50 a.m. and was located 11-miles north to northwest of the Curry County Seat. A 3.3-magnitude quake was recorded Sunday, April 19, where the two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. The quake occurred at 9:40 p.m. and was located 40-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA.
