A “Go Fund Me” Account has been opened to assist a Bay Area family with medical and travel expenses for their son Tiernan McCoy. The Marshfield sophomore suffered a serious neck injury during a wrestling tournament Saturday, April 22nd. He was transported to the Intensive Care Unit at Portland’s Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) suffering from paralysis, but according to his mother Sonia Novak he has regained some sensations and can move his arms. Rehabilitation is expected to take up to at least six-months of hospitalization.
