They had 90-seconds to see who could fill their shopping cart with the most non-perishable food items and North Bend Fire Chief Jim Brown was declared the winner. However, the community is the real winner as the items collected will at first go to the Bus Jam event on Dec. 2nd and then on to South Coast Food Share. Northwest Natural Gas, the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club and McKay’s Market sponsored the event.
