Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety, Feb. 25

SALEM – The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet via conference call at 4 p.m., Feb 25. The agenda includes motorcycle/moped safety-related legislative bill reviews, invited public comment, and registered public comment through the Microsoft TEAMS software or by call-in phone number. Comments from the public can be submitted via email to Brandy Anderson-Gillock by Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. To register to provide verbal public input, complete the fillable form and submit it to Brandy Anderson-Gillock by 5 p.m. on Feb. 22. The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety is charged with advising the governor and ODOT’s Transportation Safety Division on issues regarding motorcycle rider safety. The committee reviews, proposes and makes recommendations concerning motorcycle safety-related legislation. The GAC-MS meetings also serve as a public forum for motorcyclists to discuss safety issues and to share motorcyclist safety information with riders and the general public.
