Governor’s New Order, July 15

As of Wednesday, July 15, Oregon is banning indoor social gatherings of more than 10 people and will now require everyone to wear face coverings outdoors, when they cannot maintain a six-foot distance. The order by Governor Kate Brown; however, does not apply to houses of worship and businesses. The order follows a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in Oregon, and a projection by health officials that cases could triple over the next six weeks.
