Grandparents ROCK will host an information session on the legislation “New Requirements Regarding Grandparent Rights” which took effect on January 1, 2014. We will meet on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5:30 – 7:00pm in Room 113 at the Newmark Center, 2110 Newmark, Coos Bay. DHS Central Office Program Manager, Kathy Prouty will lead the discussion. We will learn what the bill says, how it will be implemented and what it means for the future. There will not be time in this meeting to discuss personal situations involving grandparent visitation rights. Local DHS and CWS personnel will also be present to answer questions.
