Another deceased Gray Whale has washed ashore on an Oregon Beach. This time it is on the North Coast in Tillamook Co. where a 40-foot dead whale washed ashore late Friday night, or early Saturday morning just north of Pacific City in the Sand Lake Recreation Area. OSU marine mammal officials conducted a necropsy of the male on Saturday. The other deceased whale was located two-weeks earlier in Western Lane County south of Florence.
