The Coos County Airport District would like to invite you to join us for two events we are hosting on Wednesday, February 22nd: At 4pm, a Groundbreaking Ceremony will be held for a new $12.1 million facility at the site across from the North Bend Senior Center. The Oregon Department of Human Services will coordinate its regional Child Welfare and Self-Sufficiency Programs at this location. At 4:30pm, a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony will begin at the former ACS building at 2675 Colorado Avenue to celebrate a $1.5 million remodel. The Oregon Department of Human Services will provide programs related to Aging and People with Disabilities at this location. This event is co-hosted by the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. These projects will improve our communities by making DHS programs more accessible to our citizens as a “one-stop shop” for the services they need.
