A 32-year old Bandon male was sentenced to 25-years in prison Friday in front of a Coos County Circuit Court judge following his guilty plea to having sex with a female under the age of twelve.  Sean Jeffrey Haga worked for the Bandon School District and was a youth coach.  The case came to light, according to Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, “as a result of a child pornography investigation initiated by the FBI in June of 2016.  At that time Mr. Haga was arrested on Federal Child Pornography charges.  Those charges are still pending in Federal Court.”  Judge Martin Stone sentenced Haga to 300 months, which was required due to the age of the victim under the provisions of Jessica’s Law.  He will not be eligible for parole or any form of early release.  Haga has been turned over to federal authorities.  Frasier wanted to stress “that the investigation has not developed any evidence that any other person or child was a victim of Mr. Haga.”
