Taxpayers of all ages with low to moderate incomes can have their tax questions answered and their tax returns prepared and e-filed. Trained volunteers work for the Tax-Aide Program which is sponsored by the IRS and AARP. This is the nation’s largest free tax preparation and assistance program. Three tax sites are available in Coos County: Coquille, Lakeside, and North Bend. Other regional sites are Florence and Brookings. All will be open to help from January 31 through April 15.
