The Lane County Sheriff’s Office along with the assistance of the Oregon State Police and Cottage Grove Police Department are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred near the intersection of Hillside Dr. and Howard Lp. just outside of Cottage Grove. Sunday afternoon, June 13, at approximately 5:45pm a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
