North Bend Public Library celebrates the holiday season with gift-wrapping, ornaments and an open house. Holiday Gift Wrap & Paper Crafts – 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, December 3; 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, December 22; Early-birds and last-minute gift wrappers have their choice of dates to come wrap presents away from prying eyes. There will be some wrapping paper available, and patrons are invited to bring theirs to share and swap. Holiday Origami – 2:30 PM, Thursday, December 13, Learn how to create beautiful origami ornaments with Aidan Stephan. Aidan has taught origami here at NBPL in the past and is excited to be coming back. Origami paper will be provided. Holiday Open House – 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, December 15; From 2 to 4 PM, gingerbread houses will be provided for children to decorate. From 4 to 6 PM, the Little Match Girls will provide musical entertainment. Cheer and light refreshments will be served. Holiday Hours – NBPL will close at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 24, and will re-open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 26.
