Enough was enough for members of the Harmony United Methodist Church at Ocean Blvd. and Central Ave. in Coos Bay as leadership decided to shutdown a homeless camp in the church’s back parking lot after two years. Pastor Don Ford says a small percentage of those staying at the camp ruined it for the rest. Complaints included stealing, screaming and other problems that made it difficult for those staying at the camp and neighbors close by.
