A 46-year old Coquille male died of “homicidal violence” June 22nd or 23rd according to Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier.  The victim has been identified as Gregory Scott Durham.  The homicide occurred at 618 South East 3nd Street.  The exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.  Frasier also says another male was found injured at the residence with “significant stab and blunt trauma injuries to his head and face.”  Michael Lewis was transferred to RiverBend Hospital in Springfield where he is reported to be “in good condition.”  “The information we have this time indicates Mr. Lewis was a visitor/guest of the residence.”  Thirty-four year old Manuel Daniel Delgado has been arrested and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Frasier says he intends to file a charge of Assault in the First Degree against Delgado.  He is also described as a person of interest in the death of Durham.
