The temperature nipped into the 90s for the final day of April in Oregon’s Bay Area. The official temperature at the airport in North Bend was 89 degrees. That broke an 83-year old record of 72 degrees set back in 1931. The local high was also slightly hotter than the 87 recorded in the normally hot Rogue Valley community of Medford. Roseburg hit 86, and Newport, on the Central Coast, was 84.
