Highway 101 on the North Oregon Coast was closed for about three-and-a-half hours Saturday, April 23, following a two-vehicle head-on collision that killed two and injured two others. The crash occurred just north of Cannon Beach at about 3:15 p.m. A southbound 2011 Hyundai sport utility vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the Hyundai, Gregory Heron, and his passenger Martha Heron, both 64 and from Manzanita, were killed. The occupants of the Tahoe, 57-year old Diana Feke and her passenger 59-year old Jethro Feke, both of West Linn, received non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
