The accident April 3rd that tied up traffic north of the Bay Area was a fatal accident at milepost 227 near Hauser. According to a report from OSP, a northbound Ford Taurus, operated by 61-year old Kimberly Kay Miller, Lakeside, crossed the centerline and struck a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by 70-year old Joseph Peter Bourell, North Bend, nearly head-on. Miller was killed in the accident, Bourell was transported to a hospital.
