On Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at approximately 1:00 P.M. Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 101 near milepost 229. Preliminary investigation shows that a Honda Accord, operated by Ashley Ridenour (31) of Reedsport, was traveling southbound on Hwy 101 when for unknown reasons crossed the centerline and struck a Dodge PU towing a travel trailer, operated by John Bohmfalk (72) of Coulee Dam, WA. Ridenour sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Bohmfalk and his passenger, Vicki Bohmfalk (68) of Coulee Dam, WA. sustained minor injuries. Mast Bros Towing is working to remove the pickup and trailer. The roadway is expected to be open by 6:30 PM or before if possible.
